While Brian Brown was on track wheeling to his World of Outlaws win at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, KS, on Friday night, someone snuck into his trailer and stole his custom-made helmet. Once he noticed the helmet was missing, the Kansas native tweeted out to his followers that a reward of would be offered if it was returned "no questions asked."
As of 16 hours after the incident, the helmet had still not been returned. The sprint car racing community has rallied behind the driver in the form of retweets to find the guilty party — but more importantly — to get the helmet returned.
Happy birthday to the big brother I never had! @BrianBrown21 Thanks for everything you do for me I couldn’t do any of this without your help pic.twitter.com/VpkXXWQJZj

Brown did not use the helmet while racing, but it was gifted to the driver for his birthday on Thursday and has sentimental value. His close friend Mark Clemons created and gave him the painted helmet that is designed to look like wood grain.
The helmet is a point of pride for both Clemons and Brown, and the sprint car world urges its quick return.
