Fastrak A-Main

Bailes wins, clears the scales, and pockets $20,000.
Ryan Montgomery finishes third for the second straight year.
Ferguson manages to close the gap and closes in on Bailes, but to no avail.
Bailes gets a good start over Ferguson.
With seven remaining, Daryl Charlier tags the wall and brings out the caution. This is going to set up a shootout like we saw last year.
With 10 to go, Bailes holds the lead over Ferguson and Montgomery, Walker Arthur takes 4th from Trent Ivey.
On lap 39, Ferguson moves up to second.
Once the race got back underway, they are clicking off the laps. At the halfway point its: Ross Bailes, Ryan Montgomery, Chris Ferguson (up from 13th), Trent Ivey, and Walker Arthur in the top five.
We are down to 14 cars of the 24 that started.
The restart gets tight and ends up in another accident, this time including Tyler Bare, Tyler Pennington, and Joshua Bishop. Ross Bailes and Ryan Montgomery still pace the field.

Corey Almond gets turned by Victor Lee and collects several cars. Almond climbs from the No. 7 and walks to the ambulance. He says he is ok, but they want to the hospital as a precaution. Justin Williams was also involved; he is interacting with paramedics in the ambulance.

On lap 19, Logan Roberson slows on the backstretch, draws the caution, and then heads into the pits.
With 15 laps in the books, Ross Bailes hangs onto the top spot ahead of 6th-starting Montgomery.
Now Ryan Montgomery, who was part of the three-wide battle at the end of last year's race, moves into second around Almond.
With Hawkins retiring, Corey Almond moves up to second.
On lap three, Jacob Hawkins goes up in smoke. He won't get a chance to sweep the night.

Southeast Dirt Modified Feature (30 laps)

Jacob Hawkins wins a marathon event and pockets $3,000 for the effort. He is the only double duty driver and starts the Fastrak A-Main 3rd. Can he sweep the night? Stay tuned.
Ten laps in the books, and Jacob Hawkins has led the entire distance, but Chris Arnold is in striking distance. Then Ron Hornaday's grandson Slater McCray spins tow bring the caution back out.
The race is off to a little bit of a rocky start. Three cautions in three laps, but it has been a while since they were on the track and the surface has changed.
Chase Butler brings out the third caution of lap three, They get one more lap in the books when Billy Workman Jr. gets a flat and brings out caution four.

B-Mains (12 laps)

It's go or go home time with the B-Mains for all but 2 drivers in each.
B-Main 4: Tyler Bare - who joined us on this week's Locked In podcast, scoots out to an early lead. He jumped to the lead from his second-place start. Banjo Duke takes the final transfer spot
B-Main 3: Daryl Charlier and Lee Cooper advance. In the No. 11, Austin Hubbard charges hard in the final laps, but can't quite pull off the pass. Cla Knight finishes 5th, but he got more momentum than Benji Hicks - who hit the wall early and retired to the pits.
B-Main 2: Brett Hamm wins, but the thriller was for second. Travis Pennington passes Michael Brown with three laps remaining - but Brown fights back and takes them two-wide. Pennington gets the spot.
B-Main 1: Furious battle for the lead between Joshua Bishop and Dale Hollidge for several laps near the end. Hollidge fades just a titch at the end and gets challenged by Mark Whitener. Hollidge gets the spot.

Fastrak Heats (8 laps)

Only two will transfer from the heats; all others race through the Bs.
Heat 8: Trent Ivey and Justin Williams go straight into the A. Tyler Bare will have to run the B.
Heat 7: Brent Hilton and Allen Brannon advance to the A-Main
Big wreck in Turn three when Dennis Franklin sneaks into a low groove.
Heat 6: Ryan Montgomery beats henry Hornsby III. Andy Picklezimer, who raced in the Rumble on the Gumbo earlier this year, narrowly misses.
Heat 5: Thomas Robinson wins after being interviewed earlier. Chris Ferguson also transfers. Daryle Charlier in the first driver on the outside looking in.
On the second aborted restart, Benji Hicks slides up the track and backs into another car.
Heat 4: Jensen Ford wins from his second-place start. Walker Arthur finishes second after a heated battle with Michael Brown.
Davis Lipscombe hits the wall on lap 1.
Heat 3: The two drivers who make it through this heat are Jacob Hawins and Logan Roberson. Brett Hamm is the 1st driver on the outside looking in.
There is a little break in the action as the track puts down some speedy dry in turn one from Gordon's engine.
Heat 2: Corey Almond wins. Devin Moran catches Corey Gordon off the last corner - and Gordon goes up in smoke as he comes down the frontstretch. Fire in the engine, quickly extinguishes itself. Ron Parker finishes 3rd and has to race the B.
Heat 1: Ross Bailes and Victor Lee advance to the A; Matt Clenden comes from eight to third and just barely misses.
