Ernie Francis Jr. topped the leaderboard in the second practice session for the Trans Am Race that will stream LIVE on FloRacing []. This is the final practice before qualification gets underway. And as has been the case for much of the year, he was closely followed by Vincent Allegretta and Amy Ruman.



Francis' turned a best lap of 1:28.054 on the 2.439-mile Grand Prix course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway during his 12th circuit. Allegretta and Ruman were the only other two drivers to post in the 1:28 mark, but veteran Tomy Drissi came close with the fourth-best time of 1:29.061.
