After a month-long hiatus, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series returns Friday at Delaware's Georgetown Speedway for a three-race weekend at a trio of marquee half-mile tracks in the Northeast with more than $55,000 up for grabs.

Nearly 30 drivers are signed into the 49-lap, $20,049-to-win third annual Melvin L. Joseph Sr. Memorial at Georgetown. The event honors the track founder whose career in racing started in 1955 as owner of the NASCAR-winning cars on Daytona Beach, Fla., and comes before Saturday's $25,000-to-win event at Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway and Sunday's $10,000-to-win program at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway.

Seventeen drivers have perfect attendance on the Lucas Oil Series to date entering the 12th event of 2025: Garrett Alberson, Jonathan Davenport, Dan Ebert, Tyler Erb, Carson Ferguson, Clay Harris, Daniel Hilsabeck, Cory Lawler, Donald McIntosh, Devin Moran, Hudson O'Neal, Brandon Overton, Ross Robinson, Spencer Hughes, Brandon Sheppard, Ricky Thornton Jr. and Daulton Wilson. Erb is the only driver to have not pledged a commitment to the tour.

Thornton and Moran have four wins apiece on the Lucas Oil Series this year, and Thornton has won the past two series trips to Georgetown. Davenport (two wins) and Tyler Bruening are the other winners on tour so far this year.

Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer driver Rick Eckert (four wins in five starts to begin 2025) and former Lucas Oil traveler Gregg Satterlee lead regional-based drivers from the Northeast.
