Kubota High Limit Racing ventures to Western Australia its first international Sprint Car race in series history Dec. 28-30 at the Perth Motorplex. The mega event that pays $100,000-to-win on Monday is the richest Sprint Car race in Australia history.

James McFadden led the final 22 of 30 laps for a second straight prelim victory Sunday, inheriting the eventual win after pole-starting Kyle Larson dropped out of the lead on lap nine when he clobbered the turn two fence navigating lapped traffic.

California's Cole Macedo, Australia's Matt Egel, California's Brad Sweet and Australia's Jock Goodyer rounded out the top-five. Seven cautions slowed the 30-lap feature that lasted for 37 minutes. All seven stoppages occurred over the opening 19 laps. Larson salvaged a nine-place finish. Thirteen drivers finished on the lead lap.
