Jonathan Davenport has made his way back to Castrol Gateway Dirt Nationals after not participating in the showcase since 2021.

Davenport, a three-time Lucas Oil Late Model champion and five-time World 100 winner, is the No. 49 Longhorn Chassis for Double L Motorsports. He also became Dirt Late Model’s first two-million-dollar man.

On the first day of the event, the driver out of Blairsville, GA, finished ninth in group B of the Super Late Model qualifiers at 13.273.

Davenport also debuted one of the best paint schemes for the No. 49, no doubt inspired by his Dirty Dollar Ranch, featured extensively in the Dirty Dollars: Jonathan Davenport documentary on FloRacing. See a huge preview of paint schemes here

Davenport will be trying to win his first Gateway Dirt Nationals title in 2024.
