The 34th installment of Pennsylvania Sprint Car Speedweek presented by Red Robin started Friday at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa., with a $10,000-to-win program kicking off the 10-race miniseries.

Danny Dietrich of Gettysburg, Pa., led the final four laps of the 30-lap feature, inheriting his 13th career PA Speedweek win when mid-race leader Anthony Macri jumped the cushion on lap 27 while leading ahead of Dietrich. 

Macri couldn't continue and finished 21st. Troy Wagaman finished runner-up aboard Mike Heffner's No. 27 machine, 3.508 seconds behind Dietrich. Justin Whittall led the opening 16 laps — all from the pole — but finished third.

Two cautions slowed the 18-minute feature: On lap five for debris and lap 27 for Macri. Dylan Norris crossed the finish line 13th, but was scored 20th as the last car running for being penalized for an unapproved tire change prior to the start of the feature.
