The Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series saw a repeat winner for the first time in the event's 18-year history.

Ricky Thornton Jr. stormed to his second straight Firecracker triumph worth $50,000, leading the final 56 laps and blistering the competition by 12.335 seconds. Devin Moran, who started 16th, finished second.

Thornton snatched the lead from third-finishing Mike Marlar on lap 44 and blew open his advantage throughout the 89-lap green-flag run to the checkers. Thornton, the series points leader, now has 33 career Lucas Oil Series victories. 

Drake Troutman, who led laps three and four, finished fifth in his first-ever 100-lap Dirt Late Model race.
