The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series returned from a month-long break Friday at Georgetown (Del.) Speedway to kickstart a tripleheader weekend in the Mid-Atlantic.

Ricky Thornton Jr. put himself back in the win column with a dominant victory of the 49-lap, $19,049-to-win program, leading from start to finish for his fourth series win of the season. Devin Moran finished 1.679 seconds behind.

Garrett Alberson rounded out the podium in third, a run made from the 10th-starting position. Jonathan Davenport and hometown favorite Ross Robinson completed the top-five.

Rick Eckert was the biggest mover of the race, finishing 12th from the 26th-starting spot. Fifteenth-starting Kyle Larson failed to finish the feature after reaching as high as fifth. Racing a second Ken Adams-owned entry as a teammate to Robinson, NASCAR Cup standout Ross Chastain placed 10th in the second B-main and didn't qualify for the main event.
