Kyle Larson will look to add Thursday's rescheduled Tuscarora 50 to his ever-growing list of accomplishments, as the 2021 NASCAR Cup champion inserts his name alongside the many well-known drivers gunning for the $60,000 top prize at Port Royal Speedway.

The Elk Grove, Calif., superstar has one previous Tuscarora 50 start in 2020 — the year he assembled a freelance dirt-racing schedule and put together perhaps the greatest dirt-track season of all time — where he started 22nd and finished fourth.

While Thursday is Larson's lone race at Port Royal this year, the half-mile is one of his best tracks on the circuit. Six of Larson's 60 Sprint Car wins since the start of 2020 have come at Port Royal, which is second to his seven wins at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway over that span.

Larson has 19 overall wins this year and is in the hunt for a pair of championships in the NASCAR Cup Series and High Limit Sprint Car Series, the 11-race tour he promotes alongside his brother-in-law Brad Sweet and leads by 15 points over Rico Abreu heading into next Tuesday's finale at Indiana's Lincoln Park Speedway.

Other notable names expected to race the rescheduled Tuscarora 50: Anthony Macri, Brent Marks, Brian Brown, Brock Zearfoss, Buddy Kofoid, Carson Macedo, Donny Schatz, Hunter Schuerenberg, James McFadden, Kasey Kahne, Lance Dewease, Logan Schuchart, Rico Abreu, Spencer Bayston, and Tanner Holmes.
