Expected Entries For Wednesday's FloRacing Night In America At Tyler County
A list of expected entries for Wednesday's Castrol FloRacing Night in America event at Tyler County Speedway.
For the second time in the series three-year history, the Castrol FloRacing Night in America tour ventures to Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, W.Va., for a Wednesday night tilt that'll pay $23,023 to the winner.
Nearly 30 of the top Dirt Late Model drivers in the country and those from around the Ohio Valley region are expected to compete in the Castrol series ninth-round event. With four races left on the tour, FloRacing Night in America all-time wins leader, Bobby Pierce at four, leads Hudson O'Neal by nine points in the title race.
April 2021 series winner at the quarter-mile, Jonathan Davenport (-66 points), Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series points leader Ricky Thornton Jr. (-73), two-time reigning Lucas Oil Series champion Tim McCreadie (-78), reigning World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series champion Dennis Erb Jr. (-118), and Mike Marlar (-147) are among Wednesday's list of expected entries.
Lucas Oil Series drivers Tyler Erb, Spencer Hughes, Daulton Wilson, and Garrett Alberson add touring power to Wednesday roster, each eyeing their first series victory. Earlier this month, Wilson led laps in the Hillbilly Hundred at Tyler County in a runner-up finish to Davenport.
The contingent of Tyler County locals will be well-represented and led by two-time winner at the track this year, Jacob Hawkins. Ryan Payne (June 10 winner), Kyle Thomas (July 17 winner), and Robbie Scott (July 22 winner) are among victors at Tyler County this year who are expected to race on Wednesday.
Logan Roberson, a heat-race winner with the Lucas Oil Series at Tyler County earlier this month, is on the entry list as well. Respective Virginia and Pennsylvania standouts Kyle Hardy and Drake Troutman have also added their names to Wednesday's jamboree.
