Three days after the sport's event of the year, the Knoxville Nationals, the High Limit Sprint Car Series takes over Huset's Speedway in Brandon, S.D., on Tuesday for the eighth race of the tour's inaugural season.

The pre-entry list released on Monday evening revealed 40 drivers and teams making a run at the $23,023 top prize, headlined once more by some of Sprint Car racing's biggest names, namely Kyle Larson, the newly minted two-time Knoxville Nationals champion.

Larson, the leader in the High Limit standings by 47 points over Rico Abreu, became just the eighth driver in history to win multiple Knoxville Nationals on Saturday. Abreu and Cory Eliason (122 points behind Larson in third) are set on maintaining their perfect attendance on the High Limit tour.

Along with Abreu and Larson, 11 of Saturday's Knoxville Nationals starters will be in attendance on Tuesday at Hustet's: Aaron Reutzel, Anthony Macri, Buddy Kofoid, Chase Randall, Corey Day, Dusty Zomer, Justin Peck, Ian Madsen, and Scott Bogucki.

Macri, a winner in April with the High Limit Series at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa,  is back in Bernie Stuebgen's No. 71. Macri also won the Jesse Hockett Mr. Sprint Car award at Knoxville over the weekend, the $6,500 prize as the Southern Iowa Speedweek champion.

Perhaps the biggest storyline to follow at Huset's is Tanner Holmes at the wheel of Shark Racing's No. 1A. The four-time 360 Sprint Car winner this year has been tabbed to replace Jacob Allen the rest of the year.

Among others expected to be competing is NASCAR star Kasey Kahne, former USAC champion Brady Bacon, USAC driver Jake Swanson, and 2021 Huset's track champion Justin Henderson.

In addition to the $23,023 prize that awaits the winner, big money will be on the line for the night's hard charger. The Tezos Hard Charger will receive $2,500 plus $100 for each car that they pass at Huset's Speedway.

Tuesday’s FloRacing broadcast begins at 6:30 ET with on-track action set to follow.

Fans unable to make it to Kokomo, Ind., will be able to watch Tuesday's race live on FloRacing. If you're not already a FloRacing subscriber, click here to sign up today.
